Youth Performance Opportunities are where classroom learning transforms into something unforgettable. We believe young people grow in powerful ways when they share their work with an audience, so we create age-appropriate stages for every student-from first-time performers to experienced teens.
Our pathway begins with classes like Grace & Giggles (ages 5-7), a joyful introductory experience where children blend creative movement, basic dance skills, music, and imagination. Here, short in-class sharings and simple showcase pieces help young students learn how to stand in front of others, remember choreography, and celebrate small victories.
As students grow, they can move into Grace Beyond Steps (approximately ages 7-11), where we strengthen ballet fundamentals, technique, and performance quality. Students learn to connect steps with storytelling, polish their stage presence, and work as an ensemble. They begin to understand what it means to be dependable cast members-arriving prepared, supporting peers, and honoring their commitment to the group.
For tweens and teens, our Prima Collective classes open the door to multidisciplinary performance experiences. Students participate in dance, drama, musical theatre, choreography, and even creative writing, often contributing ideas that influence staging and storytelling. Performance opportunities here may include scenes, musical numbers, original choreography, and featured roles within larger productions.
Across all levels, we design performance experiences that are structured, encouraging, and intentionally developmental-not pressure-filled. Students learn how to handle nerves, recover from small mistakes, and enjoy the thrill of live performance. Families get to witness tangible growth: stronger technique, clearer expression, and a deepening sense of responsibility.
Youth Performance Opportunities give every child the chance to be seen, to share their hard work, and to hear the applause that says, "You did it."
